It looks like one of those movies that always wins awards because it's 'heartwarming' and 'funny' but they never are. They win because people like to think they are clever by watching a movie about 'someone in a real situation' who just happens to have a stupid name and an awful sense of humour.
They are pathetic attempts at trying to be artsy, funny and dramatic all at once and failing miserably. Why the hell do the main characters in these type of films have weird names? Why not call it Jill? Because they have to try and be alternative and crap. There is a movie called 'Poppy Shakespeare' that's going to be on TV that looks identical in everyway, including the annoying name!
